TMS TSUNAMI RELIEF EFFORT -UPDATED



TEMECULA – The students at Rancho Elementary School dug deep into their hearts and pockets recently to help out victims of the tsunami in Indonesia. Students collected nearly $2,500 to give to the American Red Cross to help those in need after the natural disaster occurred in late December. Members of Cynthia Peterson’s class met with Red Cross representatives on Friday, February 18, 2005 to present a check to the world organization for $2370 to aid with relief efforts.









TEMECULA – The Vail Ranch Middle School community dug deep into their hearts and pockets recently to help out victims of the tsunami in Indonesia last month. Parents, staff and students collected nearly $4,000 to give to the American Red Cross to help those in need after the natural disaster in late December. Members of the Associated Student Body, ASB Advisor Donna Hinkle, a parent representative and Principal Kevin Groepper met with Red Cross representatives on Thursday, February 3, 2005 to present a check to the world organization for $3700 towards relief efforts.
